These Mekugi pieces are made from old bamboo smoked over Irori (open hearth) for 200 years. Mekugi pieces are difficult to find when you look for them. A Saya craftsman YOSHIYUKI Mizuno made these Mekugi exclusively for our company. One piece of Mekugi can make the impression of the white Saya sharp and crisp, which adds an accent to the sword’s nobility. We deliver 2 pieces of Mekugi in a box.
